Most companies don’t need to be sold on digitization and why they need to digitize their processes, products and services. But a few years into a digital transformation journey, most companies also hit complications, organizational resistance and the failed expectations of immediate business success and growth.
Clearly, digital business transformation involves all parts of an organization and assumes the perfect cooperation of people, processes, technology and partners – really a lot of partners. Companies need to be fast in transforming into digital business models and digital business requires a certain speed – delivering the “right amount” of service and product faster than before and faster than the competition. The customers determine this speed; they have the power because they are usually just a click away from Decided who to do business with. Technology – in particular, software – is the key ingredient of digitization—and with that, IT is at a center of digital transformation, because IT still has the responsibility to maximize the return on technology investments and ensure consistency in data, security and governance. As a digital business’s ideal speed comes into focus, IT – instead of trying to decrease the costs endlessly – will need to partner more and bring in outside applications and services in order to meet the needs of customers and the business itself.
To that end, I’m thrilled to inform you that HPE is co-sponsoring the Forrester Digital Transformation 2016 Summit, which will be held on May 10 and 11 in Orlando, Florida! This Summit will bring together business leaders and IT innovators, both of whom must transform to a thoroughly digital business or accept the fact that they may become obsolete in the market sooner rather than later.
The Forrester summit will kick off on Tuesday morning at 7:30am with an open breakfast session “The Changing Operating Model for an Agility and amazing Customer Experience!” given by Mark Milinkovich of HPE. Mark will speak about the emerging operating model called Service Broker for IT and will illustrate it with use case examples and the resulting impact on our client’s business.
We will also demonstrate HPE Propel and Service Broker solution at booth 9. Our chief architect CJ and I warmly invite all technology and business leaders attending the Summit to visit our booth 9 see our Service Broker solutions in action and discuss with us:
